This Privacy Policy explains how FLEX bot collects, uses, and protects information when you use it on Discord.

FLEX Bot is operated by Realxeng.

FLEX may collect and process the following data when used:
- User Data: Discord user IDs, usernames, VATSIM CIDs, and User’s Flight Plan.
- Message Data: Command inputs or interactions sent directly to the Bot (e.g., slash commands).
- Server Data: Text Channel IDs of where the commands are sent.
FLEX does not collect passwords, personal addresses, or other sensitive information.
3. How We Use the Information
Collected data is used solely to:
- Provide the Bot’s features and respond to user commands
- Retrieve and display data from VATSIM network (eg., for flight and pilot information)
- Create and send tailored messages to user
- Ensure compliance with Discord’s Terms of Service and prevent abuse
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Information is only shared when necessary to access public VATSIM data.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- Data may be stored temporarily or as long as needed (eg., until the end of user’s flight) to provide FLEX’s services.
- User data (such as Discord IDs and VATSIM CIDs) can be manually deleted using the provided slash commands.
- No specific configuration is currently implemented and therefore it is not stored nor collected.
- The service only store data permanently about Flight Information Regions extracted from vatspy-data-project
All data is stored securely and accessible only to the Bot and its developer.
5. Data Sharing
FLEX only shares data with:
- Discord, as required for bot functionality
- VATSIM public API, for information retrieval related to FLEX features
We do not share data with advertisers, analytics services, or any unauthorized third party.
6. User Rights
You may request at any time:
- Access to the data stored about you
- Deletion of your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate information

We take reasonable measures to secure data collected by FLEX.
